Mixero is a Twitter app for iPhone and computers that's designed to get as much out of the popular social media too as possible.
To begin with, Mixero is much like any other Twitter app. You can see your homepage, timeline, view other user's time lines and so on. Of course you can post tweets too, and add pictures from your iPhone if you want.
What's different with Mixero is that you can set up channels, and ckeck them like you would your home page. These channels are Twitter searches that you set up. Say you want to follow football, simply add a channel, add 'football' as the keyword and you'll be able to follow that on football simply by hitting that channel.
Mixero also features a contacts search box, which if you're following a lot of people is really useful! Posted images can be seen by tapping and holding the image link in the Twitter timeline.
The downside of Mixero's functionality is that the interface is a little confusing at first. The same is true with the desktop version, although the iPhone app is slightly easier to use.
Mixero has some great features, and is great once you've learnt your way around. Great for heavy Twitter users following many people.
